A bingo caller from Wallsend looks set to release his own music single. The song, called Everyone Wants a Piece of Me, will be getting released on Amazon and iTunes. Wayne McFarlane is a regular at his local karaoke bar, and has always enjoyed soulful singing. When music producer Dave Turner heard Wayne belting out tunes in the bar, he approached the bingo caller to discuss a potential record release.

Turner is already something of a music star, having had a number one hit in Barbados. His charity single, Say Goodbye sold 230,000 copies, and hit the top spot in the Caribbean for two weeks.

Lightning struck twice in the karaoke bar that night, as Dave Turner also found a perfect female vocalist to partner with Wayne. The song, which is an upbeat duet, sings about the pressures of being wanted and in demand. It has a Take That vibe, and Wayne has been promoting the song on radio stations across the UK.
