The much anticipated and nailbiting Bingo World Championship 2011 reached its thrilling final this weekend with one lucky player, NINES scooping the top prize of £3000. Players competed for a total prize pool of £5000, during an evening of 20 x £100 games and, of course, that tense £3000 final.
The buildup to the Bingo World Championship has been somewhat epic with online bingo players across the planet frantically competing since 1 November to secure a place in the final. Qualifying took part in three rounds, with an additional 20 free tickets handed out randomly to selected players.
The Bingo World Championship is now 10 years old and is certainly a highlight on the online bingo calendar, as dozens of roomies battle it out for a seat in this prestigious showdown. Participating sites included Gina Bingo, Ritzy Bingo, Paramount, Premier and Glamour Bingo.
